Memory is a construct, and fond of deception. The memories each of us hold are importunate without objectivity or stasis and yet we are adamant in our insistence that they be held accountable to the truth. It is necessary to reduce the places we have been to and things we have seen into our own artificial constructs in order to prevent their evaporation, which naturally occurs over time.
